The BOC provides a corporation with the authority to have a corporate seal, but does not require a corporation to have a corporate seal. Because a seal is not required to be placed on an instrument filed with the Secretary of State, this Office does not have information or regulations on how to design a seal or where to obtain one. Seals, stock certificates, and corporate minute books can be purchased from book stores, office supply stores, or corporate service companies.
